Sekoto paintings to be auctioned in London
An international auction house is to hold the first overseas sale dedicated to South African art in London this week.At a sale last year at Bonhams, which claims to have sold more Gerald Sekoto paintings than any other auction house, Sekoto's Self Portrait fetched ₤123 450 (R1,7 mil). Thirteen Sekoto paintings will also be on offer this year, with estimates ranging from ₤ 1 000 to ₤ 100 000. (R13000.00 - R1.4 mil)
